Worked as building contractor and then prison officer.
Other information:
Worked with father as a building contractor. As a result of marriage to a servant (Sarah Brown was a maid in Derrinsalla nr. Birr) was dispossessed and put out of home by parents. Moved to Limerick and was a warden in Limerick jail until he contracted typhoid and died young.
