			1813 An LL.D. Went to the bar. Gave up, and took Holy Orders.
			1816 Professor of Oratory at T.C.D.
			1820 Professor of Mathematics. Served as Bursar 1836-1844
			1852- Provost of T.C.D. by the Earl of Clarendon, then Lord Lieutenant 
			(appointed 24 January). Died in office.
