Career:

Rev. James Graves was vicar (or rector) of Kilfinnan (or Gilfinnan) and Darragh, Co. Limerick. He served the parish for 38 years. His tombstone bears the inscription: Let the voices of his friends and his flock speak his character. He married Jane Ryder (1719-1810), daughter of Rev. Thomas Ryder, rector of Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
